my body woke itself up and went to the car around 7:30am...  i made it to the beach and found some small waves still...  so i grabbed Spongebob and went out for almost 2 hours...  2-3' tiny force waves, but i had fun...

surfed up a lot of little waves on the BIC board, nothing amazing, but still lots of fun, practice, and exercise...  weather has been awesome lately, warm and breezy, lots of people, so the beach can get pretty packed at times...

were a few other surfers around, and some body-boarders...  it died off in the afternoon so we left...

i knew it was gonna be small, but i was hopeful...  i sat around for a few hours and decided it wasn't gonna happen...  maybe tomorrow...?

not quite surfing waves, but totally body-boarding waves...  at times they were a bit too big of a crash to ride, not that it wasn't fun to try...  lots of double waves and strange breaks, but the good waves were still around to be had if u waited long enuff...  had a fun time till the waves died out...

unfortunately, after all these weeks of fun it seems the gulf has returned to flatness for a while...  so rest up...  relax...  but start anticipating...

it was a mess out there...  hard to read the waves at any time, anywhere up and down the beach...  picked a spot and paddled out on my BIC board...

had mediocre luck the first hour or so...  then after a break suffered from a time paradox and managed to lose 2 hours in which i cant recall catching a single mentionable wave...

oh well...  i practiced paddling and posing...  both of which are skills only a serious surfer like myself can fully appreciate...

small leftover waves lasted all day long, clean and easy to catch, there were tons of surfers out from dawn to dusk...  also a very nice day at the beach after it warmed up, started as a very cold morning...

got to play on all sorts of boards all day long...  even got the Things to do some body-boarding...  one of the better wave days in a while...

not as great as i hoped, but still a lot of fun...  mostly body-boarding waves...

drove all the way back from Tampa for some mushy 3-4' waves that were barely body-board-able...  had some fun for a while, but it died down fast...  so we packed it up and left...  save some energy for tomorrow...

went back to the beach late afternoon, found some waves still...  lots of surfers hanging out...  was fun...  Thing 1 tore it up with the bodyboard...

i was not that impressed by what i saw when i showed up...  but i suited up and went out anyways...

there were deep water waves crashing, so i got to use my black surf-board, which i havent used much since i redid the 8" fin...  it seemed fine to me...

i swam way-way out past the buoys and caught some infrequent, but rewardingly decent rides...  then it seemed to die down as the wind shifted, so i gave Spongebob a go for a few rides...  it was so-so, so i left...

i might go back later and try to play more...
