arrived at 8am to a very low tide and another cold sunless morning at the beach...  but that didn't seem to stop anyone from suiting up and surfing...  more surfers seemed to show up after a while, at most 15 in the water...

i caught enuff rides to keep me out in the water for 2+ hours, until the waves got wank, and i was pretty numb so i called it quits...

got there early am and suited up...  few surfers out multiplied over the next 2 hours...  was a nice day, wind wasn't too bad, sun was in full effect...

waves were a bit slammy and mushy, but some big decent curls would roll in from time to time...  caught a bunch of fun rides...

a few surfers out this morning in less than ideal conditions...  i watched for a bit, but then left, to wait and rest up...

later on the size and strength of the waves picked up some...  managed to catch a few decent rides out there on both my boards...

showed up after 4pm, S wind swell building all day...  4 smaller surfers out catching short rides rarely...  i watched for a bit...

tomorrow should be pretty surf-able all day long...  i can hope...

had a great time out there in the cold wind, the choppy waves, and the peek-a-boo sunlight...  but managed to tuff it out for a few hours and catch some pretty sweets rides, both on and off camera...

plenty of other surfers were in wetsuits, most were doing pretty well far out near the buoys...  was a great day for surfing...

most of the cold is gone, water temp up to 60, air temp above 70...  managed to survive 2 hours out there, covered head to toe as usual...

a few other surfers out catching a wave now and then, not ideal conditions, but when is it ever...?  caught a few memorable waves, had fun, nuff said...

it was so cold out there, wind blowing, not much sun...  i got in anyways, all alone out there, just me and the messy waves...

managed to catch a few small rides before i went numb all over...  strong pull south killed it for me, that and the mushy crumbly conditions...  if i were more gung-ho, i'm sure i could have stuck around and caught a few rides...

rained all night, then blew strong NW winds all day...  i waited till late in the day to check it out, but no good...  i will try again tomorrow morning...
